Beautiful Quilt-Blackbird and Tree-Large-

Featuring a tree motive this lovely 100% Cotton Quilt will be a stunning addition to your decor! Look closely and you will see blackbirds hidden all over.The pattern is most intricate especially when you consider that it has been carved on to a wooden block initially. This wooden block is used to print on the fabric the designs that you see. 

The border of Blue and yellow finishes it off perfectly.

Indian Block Printed Quilts are made with many processes. First the design is carved onto a wooden block which will be used to stamp the design onto the cloth which is the finest   muslin. Each colour is printed on separately. After the quilt is made it is filled with cotton wadding and lightly stitched by hand to preserve the soft fluffy nature of the quilt. 

We recommend you use with a sheet underneath so that you don't need to wash your quilt so regularly.
